Jon Fitch: A Rematch With GSP Would Be 'Guaranteed Exciting'

Quote:
”You look at all the fights GSP’s had, which fight’s been the most exciting? Whether or not you think I can beat him, which fight has been the most exciting fight? And that’s the fight I had with him. You’re guaranteed to have an exciting fight because he can’t hold me down, I can take his punch and I’m always gonna keep moving forward.”

Man jon fitch sucks at hyping up a fight. I would rather watch anderson silva dance around for five rounds or a chael sonnen court hearing than a jon fitch fight. The last fitch fight i saw before the bj penn fight i took a washroom break then a snack break. Came back the shit was still on and fitch was still on alves doing notihng.

It is sort of sad that he is selling the fact that the most exciting GSP fight was the one with him.

...basically saying because he got beat up and took so much punishment, and surived.

Aaaa...yea way to go Fitch.

I used to like the guy when he had a workmen like character too him. Tough as nails. Now he just opens his mouth too often, and still doesn't go for finishes/or just can't finish. Fitch is trying to lose the few fans he had.

He has a point, the Fitch fight was exciting because of what he said of himself, he can take a punch and will always keep it coming, he doesn't sit around and let GSP jab him all day.

I'd rather see Diaz/GSP but if that doesn't happen, I'd rather see GSP fight Fitch more then anyone else in the WW division.

If you think about it, it may be true...but it is sad.

Fitch "My fight with GSP was the most exciting because I could get beat up the most while surviving".

I mean yea, way to sell it. It would just happen again.

And lets face it, just because you may have had the most exciting match up with GSP in some time...it doesn't by any means mean it was exciting.

It is like saying Shogun did the best vs. Jon Jones...err aaa good job.

Fact is, I don't want to see anymore fights with GSP that already happened. Fitch, Kos, Penn, Alves haven't done much of anything to prove they can do any better the next fight. Kos actually did better his first fight with GSP. I want Diaz then maybe Condit or something. If GSP is dead set on not moving up then sure...stay at 170 and fight everyone over again.

By the end of his career it will be like 2015.

A rematch with Fitch would be as exciting as something that isn't actually exciting at all...
