Miguel Torres done ?

win or lose to Demetrious Johnson, I don't see Torres being a factor in a competitive division any longer...

Though, I do think Torres might be able to grind out a decision against mighty mouse ...

What's the word ... is miguel torres done ?

discuss

Isn't he like 33-3 or something? I think he still has a lot to offer, just needs to tweek his strategy a bit more. Many had him on their lists as top ten in any weight class, and three losses later he's considered done?

i don't think he's done, he has the skills to keep himself in the top ten for a long time, plus working in Tristar with Firas Zahabi can only help re-ignite his career.

I don't see him holding the belt ever again - What I meant to say is that he is probably done as a champion

he's training over at tri star rite? i know he's improving his wrestling game cuz of the benavitez fite. was to dependent on that gracie BB he has. his striking looked very crisp in the banwelos match. he's taking his game to that next level and i do believe if he can beat a solid wrestler in Mighty Mouse, Miguel will be a top guy in the BW div.

remember to put "imo" at the end of everyone of my post, and keep the "u mad?" to urselves.

He'll never be champ as he has Dominick Cruz, Brian Bowles and Michael McDonald in his division. His style will get him past most in the division though, he is fun to watch too so still has much to offer in the UFC.

He is a great fighter but his problem is he more often than not wants to go to war rather than just win. If he loses that mentality he might make it to the top again it just wont be as entertaining.

A win over Dj would be huge. I don't want to sleep on mighty mouse though ..

^^
This

Firas will get him back on track. It seems like the perfect matchup of fighter and trainer to fix some of the holes in his game.

I've had the pleasure of spending a day with Firas at Tristar and he is a very smart and knowledgeable man and all round nice guy.

He was never a great fighter his competition was just awful but he can be a top 10 guy for a long time to come since the division is still bad it just got highly skilled fighters like Faber and Cruz at the top of it. I don't know about Mighty Mouse's bjj skills but if he is good he will beat Torres because he isn't stopping that lightning fast shot with great timing.
