It really looked like Dana just pulled that date out of the air, I would not be surprised if Brock is out of action for longer than 6 months.

I also worry about Brocks health. If he keeps eating the masses of calories and protein required to be a 300lb beast is that going to cause diverticultis to keep coming back?

He cut back on that since his last diagnosis and has slimmed down a bit, he said hes eating healthier and eating greens, something which he never did.

and as we have seen in both the matches hes had since returning this new diet has zapped his strength and cardio. If he cant fight at optimum level he should really call it a day. The cain fight was embarrassing

I wish him the best. Having a foot of your colon removed sounds very serious to me. How much colon does one have?

I think the colon is about around 4.5 feet long. Not sure how significant it is taking away 12inches from it, sounds serious enough though. Hope he make a quick recovery from this.

I think that's what the surgery was for, to remove the area that was chronically infected. Had Brock decided not to go for surgery, then his career would basically be done, because that would have left him vulnerable to an indefinite amount of re-flares, but with the surgery, it would seem he's serious about coming back.
