I liked the fights tonight all the huggers are just butt hurt because of who won them. I don't get the Page and Mir hate this card was a lot better than most fight nights every PPV can't be a super card. They lost their mainevent and half of their comain and managed to put Torres/Mighty Mouse on the card for us which was a pretty high level title eliminator. The people in the know called the Story win and knew he was a legit contender and that him fighting Alves was a high level matchup for 170. Struve fights always have something ridiculous happen in them and Santiago/Stann was an important fight for the future of the MW division.

So I went in expecting a lot of good fights that are important to the top ten of division standings and got that. You never know when a KO will come look at what Story and Alves did to eachother and they weren't even on wobbly legs. I can't recall ever seeing two WWs brutalize eachother like that the third round was KZ/Garcia with superior skill and 20 times the power in every strike.

This PPV was great if you needed some sleep.

I'd rather watch Strikefarce at this point, or not watch MMA at all.

Too bad, 129 was incredible; 130 was just sad. Quinton just mailed this one in.

With how Mir/Nelson turned out that should have been the Main Event in my opinion

I'd rather watch Rampage methodically beat on Hamill than GSP and Shields slap fighting each other not trying at all to finish. Rampage went for the kill on a number of occasions at least you can barely call what those two were doing fighting.

Outside of Aldo/Hominick I might have liked 130 more I enjoyed Torres/Johnson and Story/Alves more than the other fights on 129. The flying triangle and backfist KO were great and all but those guys aren't top level fighters it is easier to get away with flashy techniques when the guys you are fighting aren't skilled enough to make you pay for it 95% of the time like Alves, Story, Mighty Mouse, and Torres are.

It was a fair PPV card i think, the UFC didnt know the co-main and main events would stink. The 3 fights before it and the Torres/Johnson fight on spike were good.

How does that detail change the fact he never would've been on zuffa's radar if not for his stint at SF?

Also, not a single Strikeforce fighter has fought in the UFC since the buyout.
Who said they had? I dont need to see a crossover to know that the same shields (who was perceived as some p4p king) stunk up the joint twice. Miller was nver good so why should that change now? and diaz was bounced cuz he couldnt hang with wrestlers, the division has a plethora of them now & hes being fed to the most complacent one of the bunch hes destined to fail

And the bolded statement doesn't any sense.
Its not that it doesnt make sense its just that u cant comprehend what was written. If you think manhoef, lawler, rogers, cyborg,Mo,calvaconte, mousasi e.t.c are legit ufc title contenders then more fool you

To be fair, I have just finished watching the full event and it was an OK event, wanted to watch it live last night and tried staying up but was to tired and fell asleep before it even started only to wake up to catch the last 2 rounds of the Rampage/Hamill fight.

Stann and Story fights are all good and a nice KO from Browne so the card carried its one, I even liked the Mir/Nelson fight, Mir looked Sharpe with some strong TD's but Nelson is a resilient fuker and serious hard to finish.

I even sat through and watch the sad excuse for a main event again and it don't get no better the second time round let me tell you, that was poor, Hamill's striking and Take Down attempts where less than weak, in fact they where so bad and his cardio that if he had come out after the fight and claimed to be i'll or something on the night, despite not rating him as much use anyway, I would still have to given him the benefit of the doubt on that one because I have never seem even him look near that bad before in the octagon.

Marks out of 10, I give Hamill 2 and thats because I am been generous, no in fact I can't do it, it was not worth 1 even I think Cris Cyborg could have gave Rampage a better fight.

Rampage, I give him 3 he landed some nice shots sure but it would have been hard to have not with the way Hamill was moving, maybe harsh on Rampage but his movement and cardio sucked big time also, but who knows maybe he would of moved better if Hamill had raised the need for him to do so.

GSP vs Shields was just boring but Rampage vs Hamill was just lacking any kind of quality in its conviction, if I was to pay 2 dollars to go and watch an MMA fight at my local rec center where they where paying the fighters 99 cents to fight and seen that fight I would have been disappointed with the quality they had to offer, and I am not joking, I have seen members on here like SquirrelFighter, G_Land and TheGrizzlyBear post there home shot videos of there fights on here for us to see and been more impressed by what I was watching.

Should it have been free, hard for me to judge since been form the UK I dont pay PPV prices for these events, but after that match if I was in charge I would be apologizing to the fans and offering them a 50% refund on all tickets and PPV sales, not trying to cover up the fact we just witnessed talent wise one of the worse displays in UFC history with how hard Hamill chin is or how great Rampages. TDD is,

Dana Fcuk You and your Bull Sh1t that fight was just sh1t and you know it, Rampage's TDD was not great, Hamill's Take Down Attempts where Sh1t, Hamils Chin is not Steel, Rampage was just slow and hitting like a girl and off the mark, both fighters gassed after just walking down to the octagon and doing a quick lap around the ring. To call that peace of sh1t a worthy replacement for Edgar/Maynard and charge the same bucks is an insult, go and ask GSP if he was impressed with that performance and let us all hear his honest opinion on what he really thinks.

And Dana are you serious about putting Rampage in the cage with Jones after that display, I have.. wait let me just check.. I have £6.37 that says he don't make it out of the first round.

Rampage wasn't hitting like a girl you moron. If you got hit by one of those body shots Rampage landed on Hamill you would be on the ground crying for 3 days straight.

Yea you could be right there mate, my conditioning is like a kebab rap and a packet of skittles, if most girls where to hit me with a body shot I would probably be down on the ground crying for 3 days straight in fact my girl friend sometimes beats me up with shots to the rips with her little finger and I struggle to take that sh1t, so does not really say much about Rampage not hitting like a girl now does it.
