I wouldn't put him close to a title shot just yet. Hes pretty fast and shoots real quick but from this fight, offensively he showed next to nothing.

i thought mighty mouse won the fight 29-28. torres threatened with a fair amount of subs in rd. 2, but to win that round he really needed to get off of his back at least once.

Mighty mouse impressed the hell out of me in this fight.

You just haven't watched many Mighty Mouse fights if you think he lacks offensive skills. He just beat Miguel freaking Torres; he is very close to a title shot.

I don't get how people say he didn't win. Torres was never close to a sub, and Mighty Mouse passed his guard like ten times.

i gave all 3 rounds to mighty mouse...

sub attempts dont mean anything... someone could just go for a kimura and let go 100 times during a round... that doesn't mean anything in my book. and heel chops to the hamstring? i kept thinking of elmo saying, hee, hee that tickles...

Because they think moving your hips and throwing up your legs should score. The guillotine was really his only submission attempt that should have scored him points and mighty mouse was never in much of any danger with that. He immediately got half guard drastically reducing the likelyhood of that choke and when he tried to get fully out by passing to side control and got swept in the process of the sweep he used his legs to elevate Torres removing all of his leverage and hand fought out immediately.

Those are the kind of fighters I really can not stand!! Nothing against Mighty Mouse here.. but come on.

Just trying to nulify somebody's offense is not fighting!

I know!,... and I am not a fan of hugging.... ala rick story vs thiago..... but that is the precedent that is set in MMA to win. Everyone knows that hugging it out and being on top is going to get you the round by now. Its no surprise. and of course I dont like it, but hey.... TDD rampage had it against hammill... if not that wouldve been another lay and pray fight
