Who do you think is a better matchup to beat jon jones? Rampage or Lyoto
personally i think its lyoto, if he could continues to impose his elusive tactics, and mixes his kicks in like he did against randy. i think he could beat jon jones.
the only thing i like about rampage is that he has the strength and KO power to compete with jon jones, but i don't think it'll be difficult for jon jones to overcome those threats that rampage impose against him.

Lyoto, probably, Rampage got pressed up against the cage a few times against Hamill, Jones would rag doll him from the clinch, not to mention his reach and unpredictability make him a huge problem for everyone, front kicks, jabs, and his other crazy strikes are difficult to deal with.
Machida atleast will do more than stand and bang, I don't really know how either guy can beat him, maybe Rampage is capable of slamming him and putting him on his back, but I don't know, after the way he ran through Shogun I don't like most guys chances against him.
Master Seagal surely has something to counter Jones though.

Machida without question. Rampage doesnt stand a chance against Bones IMO whereas Machida's style can at least present a unique challenge for Bones to try and overcome.
Bones could definitely take Rampage down, but I've never seen anybody take Machida down.

I just cant see Machidas elusive technique working against Jones long range. IMO jones would win what stand up there was purely because lyoto would be constantly aware of Jones wrestling abilities.
Rampage has more of a shot out of the two IMO, solid TDD solid chin and possbility to work jones against the cage.
Although I would still unfortunately back Jones to beat them both.

Rampage has a better chance against Jones IMO. He is physically more powerful, has a great wrestling base, and his strikes make anyone think twice. Most importantly though, Rampage is an INSIDE COUNTER puncher with great head movement, this will throw Jones' game off completely.
People think Lyoto will dart in and out like he normally does, but Shogun couldn't hit Jones when he ran in with straight punches. I think Jones will have trouble hitting Lyoto, but I don't think Lyoto can get in and out without getting grabbed. Rampage's style will allow him to be the one saying 'come on try and get close without getting hurt', instead of Jones being that guy.
I think that between Machida and Jackson, Jackson will fare better when Jones tries to clinch/throw, and he is most suited to land heavy strikes on Jones. Not to mention he can take more punishment than Lyoto.

Neither of the two would beat Jones.
Machida's game is built around establishing distance, and Jones has the length to completely nullify him.
Rampage isn't quick enough.

I reckon both have about as much chance as each other. They both have strengths and weaknesses. Bones' weaknesses haven't been established yet, so it's impossible trying to predict who will beat him, if at all.
