Why all the sympathy for Roy? He got given a chance in a fight with a $125k win bonus attached, and he looked like shite. That says it all. He simply doesn't deserve it.

Still... he did look like shit. He always does. Why should he deserve more money then fighters who clearly work harder then he does?

I believe a star deserves to be paid ungodly amounts more than a unranked fight but some of these guys are not getting paid even close to what they would need to be paid to be a dedicated PRO fighter.

If you had a family guh how hard would it be to let your kids live below the poverty line just so you could chase a dream that may or may not pan out and what would they think of you if it didn't. IDK maybe they do need a union, lol.

I think that's a shame.

As i said before, i really hope it´s a scheme to run away from taxes, otherwise, most of these guys are really poor.
I don´t see how these guys can make a living with that kind of money. Most of the low tier, certainly has another job.

Pay Barry was living on rice and ketchup before one of his fights, he won and was very emotional now that he had some money in the bank. So I don't think there is too much under the table salary going on, unless you put out amazing fights.

It is fixed (main eventers sometimes seem to get the opportunity to get a share of the ppvs instead, hence there is no win bonus mentioned for Jackson). Not at specific number, but as "double pay".
