I'm on, been a fan since he was swimming in his daddy's nut.... No, thought he was a solid up and comer, but who didn't get won over by The Kick?!

You gotta love the ambition, at his early age, in taking on a nightmare of an opponent in Clay Guida. As a matter of unfortunate circumstance, Pettis decided to fight, after being 'guaranteed' a title shot, and drew the relentless attack and energy of Guida, who will deliver Pettis' first UFC loss.

No matter, AP's gonna entertain us for years to come.

How do you work that out when Ben Henderson is better than Clay Guida in every single area of MMA?

Bendo's got the beautiful Quads and ridiculous sub defense (how deep are those arteries and veins buried?), but he doesn't push the action like Guida does. The ways fights are scored, favoring TD's and top control, I got to lean towards the Carpenter in that fight.

Definitely on board, and mark my words: he's gonna out-wrestle Guida - he showed great wrestling in his last fight, and since then has been taking lessons from Askren. He's gonna bring Guida's wave of Jackson-momentum to a halt.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

Bendo is a much better fighter than Clay in all areas. Henderson would maul Guida if they ever fought.

Better wrestling, better subs, better sub defense, much better stand up.

Pettis by UD!!

I really hope Guida gets beaten again finally. Can't stand his fighting style and annoying pre fight behaviour.

I'm all over this wagon. Love Pettis, great guy, great fighter. Not only is he a very good fighter but he is good and exceptionally exciting to watch. Such a rarity, hope he does really well. I'm sure he will.

The Kick actually got covered on my local news, I'm pretty sure that's the first time they've EVER covered MMA.

Big fan of Pettis, hope he destroys Guida tonight, don't see how you can't like Showtime.
