Guida won. No question about it. Pettis is a far more exciting fighter with a brighter future IMO. Had he been half as good at TDD as he was in every other area he would have finished the fight in the first.

Wrestlers are elite. This is something I've truly believed since I started wrestling in high school (long before I was a UFC fan). However to look down in any way on Pettis for that loss would be ignorant. Props to Clay, but Pettis didn't lost any credibility in my eyes.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

hmmm. well now I'm offended.

I may have lost my cool in this thread a tad bit b/c I was checking my User CP. Not to mention some of the statements made in the first 2 minutes are a bit ridiculous and they obviously stem from nothing more than the showtime kick.

Machida Karate, Love ya bro. you know I could never hate on a machida fan. but this...

I think I'm gonna stop watching MMA for a while. Another fight like this or Torres/Mighty Mouse and my blood pressure will make my veins burst. I can actually hear my pulse right now, that's how angry I am at what people call a judging system.

wow, I found it was an awesome fight, going back and forth on both ends, they both left it out there and it was entertaining to watch, I kept telling myself "that's how GSP should have fought shields, take some chances"

the lightweight division is one of the most entertaining atm, for me at least. and last night, both fighters just went all out and made a great, entertaining fight.
