Paul Taylor is going to beat the hell out of this guy. Makdessi is a midget and has only beaten on cans all those fancy strikes will be a liability in this fight against a taller, longer, more than competent striker.

Paul Taylor will be called a can if he doesn't win this fight. Not to trash the guy but lets be real, nobody is going to say hey Makdessi guy is incredible he beat Paul Taylor. You aren't going to win an argument when he faces say Gleison Tibau next and people say hey he's the real deal he beat Paul Taylor. They are going to say, "who has he beaten" "just a bunch of cans" "he's to small"

Should be an awesome fight. I don't see how Taylor is getting written off here, he has great kickboxing. Before the knockout in his last fight i thought Makdessi looked a bit slow. I think this will end in a split decision, and also fight of the night!

Makdessi hasn't beaten anybody notable yet either, so i will reserve my opinion about this fight for now.

Taylor has looked more than competent against many good fighters he isn't a can. He would be a solid win for anyone trying to prove they belong in the ufc.

I don't remember the Stout fight but that was a split and I thought he won the Kelly fight. Either way he isn't some chump who doesn't know what he is doing Makdessi can throw hook kicks at all night long.

Strongly disagree.

Makdessi is undefeated in like 50 Tae Kwon Do, kickboxing, and MMA fights. Paul Taylor is not the guy to beat him. His striking is several leagues lower than Makdessi.

This is a good match-up, Taylor is always exiting and he has had some fights he prolly should have won i.e. Lytle and Davis. He is essensialy a decent fighter and another good notch on Makdessi's belt if he wins.

Both of these guys are great strikers. I can see this going the distance, though I'm not sure who I would pick to win. We should see some great exchanges, that's for sure.

Meh another weakish fight for Makdessi. Can't wait until they give him a real challenge, i.e. a wrestler who'll take his first flashy kick and dump him on his head. All he gets is brawly striker after brawly striker.

The LW division is full of wrestlers, he ain't going far.

Based on what? Based on that fact that he is a striker? That is stupid of you to say, you don't know how good his TDD is. TKD black belts mostly have incredible TDD.
