Rampage and Rogan Accused of Sexual Harassment

http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news;_yl...assment_060311

A Yahoo! article blasting Rogan and Rampage. It says Rampage sexually harassed Karyn Bryant when he "motorboated" her and Joe Rogan sexually harassed Maggie Hendricks by calling her "cunty". Honestly, this is ridiculous because neither of these cases are sexual harassment and there is nothing wrong with Rogan or Rampage. Can anybody take a joke anymore? Rampage was just being funny and Karyn Bryant had no problem with it whatsoever.
People need to lighten up.

Well, Rampage's "motorboating" could totally be sexual harassment, had Bryant's reaction been anything different than laughing awkwardly. You can't go up to any chick and do what Rampage does on a frequent basis without having the legal possibility of being sued. Remember, this is the guy that air-humped some random reporter. That shit will get you in jail in some states.

In terms of Rogan's comment, people need to lighten up. Seriously, get over yourselves, he said "cunty", which, like he said, is just a stronger word for "bitchy". Any person can walk down any street inside a large city in America and hear worse stuff in a matter of seconds.

I'm not saying that Rampage should be sued for sexual harassment, but lets be real here, what if any non-famous person had done that to a chick? At least the *possibility* of some legal troubles.

This. Shoving your mouth in some girls' boobs without consent is the very definition of sexual harassment. Do I think he should be penalized heavily? No, because the chick looks like a total skank and probably encouraged him.

Minor cusswords on the other hand are not. Calling that harassment is just gestapo type PC bullshit.

Rampage's thing..... i can see it both ways.... if she took it as a joke, then all good. if she really didnt expect it and was upset... then i could see it her way too.... but i dont think much would come of it....

The Rogan thing is total bullshit.... there is nothing wrong with voicing your opinion as long as you arent threatening the other person, or making false accusations. you can say you think the President is a moron and ruining the country..... its opinion and fine. if you say you hate the president and will kill him..... NOW its a different animal.... just like you can say i think so and so is a ****! thats fine.. say so and so is a prostitute and has sex with people for money.... now your making false accusations....

Very well stated. As much as I laughed at both situations, Rogans is just merely banter and Rampages actions were more on the sexual harassment lines.

She didn't take it as harassment. It's not harassment.

As for Rogan. Calling a woman a **** isn't harassment. Its verbally abusive language. But far from harassment.

Yahoo's MMA reporting is a joke. I once read an article about Fedor fighting Rogers in Strikeforce in the UFC section. Their whole interpretation of MMA journalism is worse than the Bleacher Reports. Which is pretty sad.

I don't understand how y'all see things. Maybe it's just how things are where you're from.

Where I'm from, calling someone a c*nt means that you are volunteering to fight their brothers, Daddy, Boyfriends and cousins.

It's pretty hard to be more disrespectful.

Joe didn't break any laws but, he should be ashamed of himself and he needs to think about who he wants to be. A professional sports announcer or a forum punk.

He didn't really do it. He just feigned doing it. That would make a big difference in court...not that Karyn would sue him.

He'd kick their ass with not much problem. As for the latter, obviously both.

The whole "cunty" thing was blown way out of proportion. And Rogan's responses didn't help anything, he should have just ignored the situation.

Rampage's case is a little more legit, but the chick didn't seem that upset at the time, that I can recall (if I'm thinking about the right incident? Rampage has messed with a lot of people on camera).

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

Thinking about it... isn't it strange that c*nt is a negative word? How did that happen? I understand how asshole is derogatory, but c*nt? All associations I have with the word c*nt are entirely positive. One could even argue it's a compliment. 'Hey you c*nt, why don't you come over here and brighten up my day?'. Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?
