I have to stay up till like 5 in the morning to see MMA thats just tough luck.
Grounds still get used for crap like Rugby, reserve games etc.. On the night of the PPv not everyone will be playing at home.

Theres ways round this, Man Utd (greatest team ever) would rent there stadium. And I'm sure the likes of Fulham etc could do with the money.

And yeah dude, the timezone thing sucks. Altough I'm kind of a night owl anyway. Not metaphorically, literally!!

I don't mean the physical problem of two event is one place I meant more the damage to the pitch by setting everthing out. Thats why Wembley pitch is terrible. I'm sure there is somewhere they could put it tho.

I think you will find Hull City are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen

You reckon they could sell out a Premiership stadium with the lackluster cards they put on over here? I don't.

We're plagued by the timezone.

Exactly. We (as in the UK) need to have two high profile main event fighters to make it worthwhile sticking it in a huge venue like Wembley.

Well you would prolly need a pretty huge event to do the main pitch at wembely that would be like 100,000 tickets to sell out BAMMA did their event in one of the function room type things I belive (Imagine MMA in a sold out Nou Camp lol like 110,000 fans, please god someday let MMA be popular, imo it's not unrealistic)

Problem with football grounds is October = rain in the UK. I don't really buy the excuse of venues not being available though.

As a side note, there is no UK event, does this also scrap any European event? Dana mentioned at the press conference that Sweden isn't going to happen but hoping another country might develop.

I'm sure wembley has a roof though. Apparently noone is buying tickets for Vancouver so it may as well be over here.
