EDIT: JDS is the betting favourite right now...LOL..wow.
How is that surprising? Most fighters who stay out for a long period of time, especially from a surgery, wont be the betting favourite.

The fact is that for most fighters, getting out of fighting shape, and staying out of the gym, which Cain was both forced to do, is not a good thing. He has a strong work ethic, so it really shouldn't be a problem, but thats how it goes.

This is also part of the reason why JDS wants to continue fighting and didn't sit back and wait for Cain when he had the opportunity.

You are kidding right. JDS isn't in the same league as Velasquez.

Cain vs Ben Rothwell. Watch it, expect more of the same in the JDS fight.

i thought you were pulling out the crystal ball. we never know which fight is the best until we see it.

The newly crowned SF Grand Prix winner, the SH heavyweight champion, the K-1 Grand Prix 2010 winner, the interim Dream heavyweight champion vs Cain-JDS would be my biggest MMA HW moment.

I'm pumped, i always pictured Cain as the new type of Fedor but JDS showed some crisp boxing and amazinf TDD. Could go either way.

Not the greatest you can tell JDS was ready for lesnar and was respecting carwin power. Its gonna be a very interesting fight vs cain. Junior is better with his hands, but cain is the better overall striker. Its gonna be a chess match between these two. Right now i can`t pick a winner.

I don't see how anyone could say Cain is a better overall striker than JDS.

Even when he TKOed Lesnar, he did so in sloppy fashion, and most fans readily acknowledge this. Opinions differ, but fact is fact, and based on what we've seen, JDS is by far and away the superior looking striker. Superior fighter? Well, that remains to be seen. Cain has his tools, and JDS has his counter-tools... that's what makes this fight so very intriguing.

McKeever is a knob.

Fightin' talk.

Paypal. I'll bet you $100 Cain beats JDS and not just beats him, but dominates him.

You have proved time and time again that you can't call MMA fights. Randy Couture over Lyoto Machida?!!!

Put up or shut up.

The unfortunate Chael Sonnen fan is right.
(Respect CP, I tried to rep you but apparently did it not too long ago )

If anything I, like the betting odds at the moment, give the favor to JDS. I personally, wouldn't really call Cain overrated, but he is without question overhyped. Junior will take this fight. He will likely lose a round or two, but if this fight is finished it will without question be Junior, if it goes to the judges it could go either way.

Having said all that. The recently made official Diaz Vs GSP match gives me great hope that whoever does take the JDS Vs. Cain match will likely fight the SF Grand Prix winner, who will likely be Allistair!!! That my friends, will be the greatest HW fight of all time... but this JDS and Cain, a close second for sure.

As far as technical striking goes, Junior has a serious advantage and don't act like Cain can't be hit, Kongo rocked him a few times and Junior has much more power in his hands.

And, fyi Junior dos Santos isn't Ben Rothwell, Cain isn't going to cruise to an easy W in this one.

Pretty pumped up for this fight, I'm hoping Junior lands something early and follows Cain to the ground for the stoppage.

I promise you he will. Cain is in a league of his own.
