If Cain comes in healthy, I can't see how he doesn't just run through JDS who I thought looked very mediocre in his last two fights. Yeah, he showed great boxing skill. But if boxing skill meant much, you would see a lot of boxers coming over an dominating MMA.

Cain will come in with a gameplan to mix it up with striking and and takedowns and will either win a lopsided decision or more likely finish with a TKO once JDS inevitably gasses.

Also IMO Brock-Couture was the biggest HW fight. The energy was amazing for that fight.

Comes down to cardio to me. JDS has shown a pretty amazing ability to avoid the ground. Cain will have a hell of a time taking him down and avoiding his striking.

I say, standing up JDS would have the edge, but Cain is a prodigy and always improving. Cain will work the clinch and cage, his pace and stamina could very well be the difference in a 5 round His striking is at the very least, enough to stay alive and work his wrestling, and at the very most, enough to beat JDS.

Cain is probably the more well rounded fighter, but Dos Santos strengths match up well with him. I still don't think its enough though. Cain should be favourited.

Definitely excited as hell at the prospect of JDS vs Velasquez. He's the best of the best at HW. And when this fight FINALLY happens, these two are going to (god willing) beat the holy high hell out of each other.
