hey shh you

thats kind of a specific way to label a guy. make no mistake as a kickboxer hes okay to good. but as an mma striker he's top 2-3 in the ufc without a doubt imo. did you see him fight cro cop? he demolished him. it was like seeing a guy with love for the other guy kick his shit in and be like "respect". i am rather drunk at the moment, but the op doesnt see anything special in pat.. ive been a kickboxer for many years and I can see pat is good. People are taking kongo over him and I find that funny, pat is a better striker than kongo could ever hope to be.

im not saying he'll ever be a champ but he's a goddamn good striker.

I more so have high hopes for Pat Barry's future and I love his personality. I don't necessarily find his specific form of humor all that funny, but I like that he's more clown then serious. I also like heavy weights who know how to kick, which isn't common in the HW division.

I think a lot of the hype surrounds his potential. He always clearly holds back, yet when he does land something with authority no one just walks through it, you see the pain on their face. I am a Pat Barry fan, but it sort of frustrates me the way Lyoto does. You can see the devastation they can cause but both hold off on throwing it (for different reasons of course). I think an attitude change in the cage from Lesnar's camp could easily turn him into the primer striker at HW.
