If Siver Wins...
So Dennis Siver is facing Matt Wiman this weekend, coming off his victory of Sotiropoulos one would be inclined to think that, with a victory on Saturday, Siver will have elevated himself into the upper echelons of the division. Who do you think he'd be put up against next?

Big fan of both guys, but it I think it would be one hell of a fight.

Siver is IMO the most over rated guy at 155. If he moves higher up the rankings then he will swiftly get beaten back down again.

Although I still really don't get Siver and what he brings to the table noone can deny that he has looked good in his last couple of fights. I'm not entirely sold on him yet, a win over Wiman really won't do much for that either.
I'd say get him in there with some of the top guys and see how he does. If anything, this win makes him "eligible" for a top guy.

Edgar if he loses the belt, Pettis if Maynard wins.

Give the winner of this fight the winner of Roller/Guillard. Give the loser Tery Etim or Mac Danzig.

screw siver, its not his fault but i maintain his fight with soti should have been a draw, 10-9 round 1 siver, 10-9 round 2 soti and 10-10 final round. wiman can wrestle good though so he will ground and pound his way to a decision

Hehe. I'll give you credit for sticking to your guns. You gotta let it go though. Soti came in ill prepared for what Siver brought to the plate. I was surprised that he couldn't take him down and keep him down but he didn't have a hope without taking this fight to the ground.

well siver came in looking like someone carved his body out of a mountain and i knew it would be hard for soti to get it to the ground because he is only taught weak bjj takedowns(after the fight he said he will be doing loads of wrestling practice) but i think he outboxed siver in round 2 clearly and round 3 it was dead even, there is a great photo online with soti punching siver clean in the jaw and sivers face jiggling and turned sideways with slobber coming out of his mouth. its nearly avatar worthy, either way siver only has power and the spinning back kick and some decent boxing
