Its a state by state thing although I think NSAC is one of the few that are not cooperating with the unified rules. Ive been to the amature mma events here and I thought they were all five minute rounds but like you im unsure.

I went from eating whatever I wanted from about age 16-25 and staying around 155 or 160... to now working out 3 to 4 days a week to stay under 200 lbs.

Contrary to popular believe, your body may stop growing upward at 24 to 25, but you will thicken... I guarantee it lol...

Thicken indeed. In my early 20s I fought at 70kgs. Now at 77kgs and walk around at 84 kgs.
