which means nothing as the other three fight for different promotions.

I do think that with a Henderson win over Miller, Gilbert Melendez is the overwhelming next contender for the title.

Only way Henderson wins though is if he can keep it on the feet and even then it could be close.

Melendez is definately next in line though, unless Guillard can beat somebody good in the meantime (perhaps they will put him in with Siver next, which would be a good striking war).

Think Aoki is going to struggle in a cage anyways. Too much room to get away from him and they won't allow him to butt scoot.

Damn. I need to stop drinking and then posting...

UFC LWs:

1. Frankie Edgar
The champ.

2. Gray Maynard
The only man to beat the champ, and the man who almost beat him again.

3. Clay Guida
I know most of you will probably scratch your heads at this one, but I thint that Guida's relentless style poses serious problems for the majority of UFC LWs. With the judging system currently so focused on aggression and takedowns, I'd favor Guida over most any UFC LW. This is a ranking based not solely on what a fighter has accomplished, but rather, on what I believe they have the capability of doing.

4. Jim Miller
Speaks for itself, he's won 7 straight fights in the UFC, and when he undoubtedly beats Henderson, he'll be given the next title shot (I would hope...)

5. Dennis Siver
Tough one here to call between Siver and Guillard. Obviously Guillard had the more dominating performance of tonight, and he's KO'd Siver before, but Guillard's amazing susceptibility to submissions makes me put Siver in the lead on this one.

My 2 pennies.

Edgar
Maynard
Miller
Guillard

Nobody else is in with these 4 guys. Only number 4 (Guillard) could beat 1 or 2.

That's how I see the UFC LW landscape ATM.
