I was really happy to see Tito getting the "W" yesterday. Now I'd like him to face Shogun if Rua somehow loses to Griffin. Or the fight against the loser of Evans-Davis would be interesting.

And to be honest I havent celebrated so much in a long time as when Tito got pulled off bader.
Everyone knows Tito is a dick most of the time, but you got to give the guy his dues. Those back surgeries he went through were really nasty. He has taken hoards of abuse about pretty much everything, especially his ex. But he has responded like a champion and against all odds nailed bader, a very good up and comer indeed.
He's the only relevant old schooler left now. Wandy's chin is done, and I think its great for the sport and the fans that he won that fight.
Theres only one matchup for him now and thats vs Shogun. Lets get it on Silver!

I'm sure even the hardest critics got their share amount of nostalgia when Tito made his burying celebration.

I was in shock and applauding at the same time. He looked like he was generally fighting for what he said in the pre fight interview and not just putting it on for the cameras. I feel bad for Bader but hes young so he has pleanty of time to re-coop.
Give me your best neg rep Tito haters! lol

This sums up my feelings totally. I've never liked or disliked Tito and never really got the polarization he gets seeing as how he's not very relevant... Either way, he made me like him last night.

No one can say anything since he came out and won the fight but realistically i dont know why he is still allowed to fight for the UFC on the main card , he is irrelevant in the scheme of things and guys like Guillard shouldnt be on the prelims.
Im happy he won the fight because he needed it but im also going to stay level headed i know Bader would beat him if they faced off numerous times and im confident Tito will lose his next fight , but it is what it is so just let him have his time i suppose.

You really can't understand why he would fight on a main card? Same reason he went so long without a win, but is still in the UFC. He draws a crowd which equals revenue.
Tito has done some things that made me think he was a douche, like wearing his "Guy Metzger is my bitch" t-shirt which is pretty lame. Funny, but lame. Although he gained my respect as a coach on TUF. But then he didn't show up to box Dana, which is lame too. Being with Jenna didn't help either...their pictures sure accentuated the size difference in their heads.
But I gotta say, Melvin Guillard pisses me off far more than Tito ever has. I'd much rather watch/hear Tito than Melvin anyday.

Aside from the money, people love history, people love legends, people love nostalgia, people love underdog.
You can't dismiss what he has done for the sport like you do above man, its not reality. The same as saying Randy should not be on the main card after he had a few losses.
Its all about respect man. You have to show respect to these guys who helped make the sport, and have been around for so long. They deserve it because they are true warriors. Tito has showed now that without injuries he can fight, so that makes him relevant as well.
Like you I dont know how guillard can be off the main card, maybe it was because of the dude he was fighting. But thats got nothing to do with the Tito issue
