Tito vs the winner of Franklin - Lil Nog is what I think should happen.

I wouldn't call Tito relevant just yet. Old schooler, yes, but relevant? No. He got a victory, hat's off to him. That was a good victory, but it doesn't really make him relevant.

As far as I'm concerned, there are other veterans of the sport that are more relevant than Tito. Shogun, Overeem, Nogueiras, and so on.

If Tito keeps winning, and shows he can hang with these younger, stronger, faster guys - then we can start debating relevance.

Bader was a good victory though, and congratulations to Tito for that.

I think would be able to defeat the winner of Nog vs. Franklin

All the other high ranked guys, he doesn't stand a chance in my mind.

The thing that everyone has missed out, is that him and Dana are now close friends! After everything that went off before he is now his friend and Dana respects Tito a hell of a lot, also that and the amount of money he has to pay him is the reason he was on the main event! The thing is now, I can see Tito getting a title shot after one more win!

Excuse me, but didn't JBJ get his title shot against Shogun after defeating Bader?. Tito has defeated Bader a lot faster, and has fought champ after champ since 2006 (with the exception of Matt Hamill).

I say give him Shogun. When you get a W, you go up the ladder, with harder opponents, not easier ones.

JBJ got his title shot after defeating Bader, yes. But there were other factors to that title shot as well. For one, the original contender (Rashad) was injured. Another one was Bader being a lot higher ranked than he is today (pre-Tito). Not sure about how many other fighters was available for a title shot either, and JBJ had looked incredibly good against most opponents at that time. Tito hasn't.

Tito basically beat a lower ranked Bader, coming from losses and injuries.

Not saying Tito couldn't be contending for the title, stranger things have happened, especially concerning "big draw fighters" such as Tito. But his situation isn't really comparable to JBJs situation post-Bader.

.
This is the first fight not against Ken Shamrock Tito has legitimately won since he beat Cote in 2004. Bones was on a 4 fight run of complete destruction when he got his title shot as an injury replacement that he was the second choice for. Bader wasn't going to get the title shot if he beat Bones.

Well, just before he lost to Tito, Bader had only been beaten by JBJ, as did everyone in his path, (except Hamill for the DQ). So Bader stock was almost as good as before the JBJ fight. He wasn't the favourite, and he was supposed to lose to JBJ, and he did. He had won the rest of his fights. He was no gimmie to Tito.

And, well, Jones had lost to Hamill (DQ, but still a loss), and defeated Vera, Matyushenko and the said Bader. The only top 10 of the bunch. None of them champions or even title contenders.

On the other side, Tito lost to Chuck when he was still champ, then he got a draw to Rashad, unbeaten at that point, that should have been a win if not for the very strict 1 point deduction, then decision loss to an untouchable and unbeaten Machida, and a very close Split decision to Forrest Griffin. All of them have been champions, and all of them clear top 10s, and even top 5s at the time of the fight. He hasn't been fighting mid-range fighters or cans. The only bad loss was to Matt Hamill, but hey, even Jones lost that one.

So, I'm not saying give him a title shot, of course not, but why not Shogun?. Another champion and top 5, or Rampage. Tito always fights the best. Although the fight with Rich would be interesting too, but basically useless for both of them.

It was a good win but the words Tito and the phrase title shot should not be in the same sentence, except for in cases such as this were they are put together to state how ridiculous it would be if this eventuality occured.

It was good win and i am happy for him. But people are best not get ahead of themselves though, its very likely he will come unstuck against anyone near a LHW Top 10.

It will be interesting to see who they pair him up against next. He has bought himself some time, it would be nice to see him go in there against the likes of Little Nog or Rich Franklin.

If he managed to defeat one of those guys THEN we start talking about potential matchups with guys of the Shogun, Machida, Forrest ranking.

If he beats one of those THEN we start talking about title shots.

You see that happening? NO, me neither.
