Anderson isn't going to fight for much longer, so he's out.
I believe Cain will lose to JDS and Edgar will lose to Maynard, so they're out.
GSP and Jones have a lot of legitimate threats (Condit, Diaz, Machida, Rampage, etc) so they're out.
For me it comes down to Cruz or Aldo, but I went with Aldo because I can see Faber possibly beating Cruz in a rematch but I literally can't see anybody in the FW diviison beating Aldo atm.

lmao that people still think Aldo is gonna move up and tear up the LW division. Hardly any fighter have had success moving up in weight and Aldo has only looked as good as he has because of who he is fighting. Don't get me wrong they are not complete cans but they are not the level of fighter of a Frankie Edgar, Gray Maynard or Jim Miller. Aldo is not the next BJ Penn or Anderson Silva.
Im going with GSP holding that belt as long as he wants to, there are no real threats on the horizon. Diaz is gonna get a one sided beat down that will have the haters disappearing into the woodwork.Condit is tough but I don't see him having anything to actually win the fight with.

I don;t get it silva has okami he beats him he pretty much recycling fighters. He is the only fighter right now with one more win literally we can say has no threat of losing the belt. What does he have 5 more fights left on his contract? GSP has Diaz,Condit, and an improve fitch...Jones right now looks unbeatable and he is improving which is the scary part.

I don't see why Aldo would move up anyways.
Bones is unlikely to lose to any current UFC LHW, but he may have to move up. Anderson won't be around that much longer (a year or two). Edgar is probably the most beatable champ. Velasquez has a handful of tough challengers (JDS, Bones, Reem). Aldo has Florian, Hioki, and possibly Edgar to get through.
For me it comes down to Cruz and GSP. GSP may move up, but I doubt it, so I'll take him and his zero weaknesses.

Gsp,
He's my first pick and mostly because he's not going anyplace and he really dosent have a lot of viable challengers. After Diaz if he wins the division has been picked clean and I think he sits on top wile he's in his prime.
Anderson Silva,
He's a lot like Jones in that he could move up and vacate, I cant pick him because I dont know what he'll do next, he could even retire. That said I dont see anyone beating him at MW so he's my second pick for longevity.
Dominick Cruz,
he's a fighter that has the potential to be champ long enough to beat out the others, odds are he can stay champ for a wile seeing as he just fought making him my third pick for longest run.
Jose Aldo,
Aldo may hold the title longer than most the other champs but not all IMO. He'll have a influx of new talent to deal with and fighters like Kenflo Sherk and Edgar who should have been in Aldo's division in the first place dropping from LW.
Jon Jones,
Jones still has some things to prove. I also would not be shocked to see him defend his belt a few times and then step up to heavyweight. He's exciting but I dont think I can pick him.
Cain Velasquez,
At HW everyone packs a punch, I have a hard time with the idea of anyone being domanent for more than a few fights. Not that it cant be done but I think other weight classes have better odds.
Frankie Edgar,
Edgar is a great fighter but with all the talent at LW its only a matter of time before he gets knocked off.

Cain - huge threat in JDS.
Jon Jones - I voted for him, if he gets past Machida, I think he owns the rest of the LHWs.
Silva - too old.
GSP - not as young as Jon Jones or Cruz, only reason I didn't give it to him.
Edgar - Maynard, but particularly Guillard rival him stylistically and the division is stacked, every fight will be a tough one.
Aldo - moves upto LW before Jon Jones moves upto HW.
Cruz - weakest division now, it is between he and Jones, but I think Cruz is also more likely to move up before Jones does.
