LW is too stacked (My Rankings)

Below is my attempt at a stack ranking for the Lightweight division, it took me almost an hour so please don't flame me!

I have used a mix of my personal opinion (it is my list afterall) and where i think the UFC would also have them ranked based Main Card/Prelim status of recent fights.

I put a red star by rankings 5, 6 and 7 because i think there is truly nothing between them, the top 20 was very hard to place and i think the last 20 fighters required less attention to rank them.

We all know what opinions are like.... everyone has one, so please post your own or feel free to critique mine in a nice way!

Agree

LW is really the best divison by far these days!!

Guillard should fight Miller next and the winner gets the next shot finally.

I think Bendo will edge out Miller personally.

Guillard should face the winner of Miller/Bendo for the number one contender spot.

I think winner of Miller vs Henderson should get the next title shot.

Especially if it's Miller.

There is no other fighter (in any division) more deserving of a title shot than Jim Miller - especially with another win over such a tough fighter such as Henderson.

Personally i would love to see Guillard vs Guida - but they're teammates, so i don't think that will happen pretty soon.

And...in that case: Guillard vs loser of Edgar-Maynard sounds interesting to me.

accurate rankings imo but i would rank

5 - Guillard

6 - Siver

7 - Pettis

Guillard has really impressed me since his return to the UFC. Not only has he beaten Siver but he looked real good his fights with Dunham and Roller. Siver aswell from Wiman and G - Sot decisions.

Also you ranked Mark Bocek under 29 and 35

Not a bad list. I would still put BJ on there, he may go back to LW and win some quality fights!

Im going to go ahead and assume you've never seen John Makdessi fight if you have him ranked dead last in the division...

People were saying the exact same thing about Soti just two fight ago, now look what's happened. Basically, like Soti was at the time, I'm just not convinced that Jim Miller is a great fighter and I think Bendo will edge him out.

He's got good power in his hands, but not very technical, above average wrestling and a decent ground game. No area of his game really stands out to me, he was soundly out boxed and out wrestled by Gray Maynard in their last encounter. I think he'd lose convincingly to both Gray and Frankie again.

I don't think Guillard would fight Guida because of the team mate issue. I still think the winner of Miller/Bendo should fight Guillard for the spot. Personally I think Guillard is quite capable of smashing either of them.

As for Guida, I don't know and I don't really care.
