Damn he's got gunz. Dana has transformed over the years, but imagine the amount of free training, supplements, and resources they have. It's unlimited. It aint cheap to train properly. I remember reading a story about Jeff Monson living out of his car and barely able to afford supplements. Anyways yah this is what separates a lot of the other sports. They (entire management) are fans first. That's what makes the sport special.
They are businessmen first , otherwise we would see fighters fight the fights we want to see and then after they lose their stock plummets hence why they build them up for so long and only try and put guys against one another in title fights or number 1 contender matches.
I feel that they're so suitable to lead the UFC due to the fact they built it up from nothing. They're not some absentee boardroom members making calls based on financial figures, they actually got involved when things were small fry and needed proper attention. They probably got to learn everything about the sport just like every fighter and trainer does.
They didnt build it up from nothing it they purchased the company in 2001 , the first UFC was in 1993............
