Im not going to outright dismiss Stann but this fight is a "show me" fight, Davis exposed some weaknesses now lets see how far you have came.

Stann could win but he's still learning and advancing his skills. I get a little nervous picking this fight B/C Sonnen is a bit of a one trick pony, I mean if Stann can stop the TD's he can win this fight.

My gut keeps telling me Stann will be ready for the Takedowns.

To be fair, I think Davis can "expose" anyone who isn't a D-1 All-American But, I also think it was the best thing that could have happened to Brian. All fighters talk about "learning experiences" I think Brian actually knows how to use them. I think Brian's going to be a champ. if he can stuff Chael he will beat the piss out of Silva.

Is he ready for the takedowns? I think so...

I agree. If Stann can defend the takedown he can beat Sonnen. If not then this fight will go the way of Charlie Brenneman vs. Rick Story. Sonnen being Charlie Brenneman and Stann being Rick Story.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam
