As a Lauzon fan, I'd love to see this. The pace would surely be explosive, and I could see it ending in the first most likely.

Nobody starts faster than Joe, it'd be cool to see how Melvin reacted and responded to that....

I got a feeling this will be another Evan Dunham-esque fight...

It's J-Lau. I also hate it.

In the fight I'd give a slight edge to Guillard. Lauzon would be smart to at least consider pulling guard.

I'd give a slightly bigger edge to Guillard.

Imo, Lauzon would need to make it a grappling match to win this. That means:

1. taking down Guillard - something that has proved extremely hard in his last fights
or
2. tag him badly, knocking him down - that would mean, Lauzon would need to engage in s striking match early, something that is extremely dangerous against Guillard

My money would be on Melvin for sure.
He just looks extremely hard to beat right now.

.

BELIEVE!

I don't think Melvin will be stopped untill he fights Frankie for the title.

Im surprised that Melvin wants this fight. Ithought he may take on someone like Jim Miller or Clay Guida. Maybe even a re-match with Siver. Maybe he feels he can beat Lauzon easily.
