Forrest Griffin will be involved in some capacity for as long as he wants I reckon.

Dana white himself said he would never cut Stephan Bonnar or Forrest Griffin, he said they are like his kids. I don't think anyone else is completely safe.

Griffin, Penn, All the champs, Hughes, Franlklin, Wandy, Rampage, Brock... And pretty much everyone else who brings the UFC a ton of viewers. The top guys that are aging will be "retired" should they lose a ton of fights, before Dana would ever cut them and let them go to a rival org.

How is Shogun in trouble? He's only just lost the LHW belt after (arguably) beating Machida twice. If he beats Forrest he's right back in the title picture.

Mir has currently got two wins on the trot and, similar to Shogun, could get a title shot with another win.

And I think they'll give Belfort a bit more leeway rather than dropping him so soon after a title shot. Regardless, its not as if he's put himself in trouble by losing to Silva
