Should the UFC put on a PPV the features only rematches?

I was just thinking this over and I really think the UFC could put on an extremely successful card that features nothing but rematches of close fights. The build for the card would be there automatically and I feel that if they used the correct fights, they could simply sell it with a UFC unleashed of the original fights on Spike.

Here's a realistic card that I would do.

LW Title
Edgar vs Maynard

BW Title
Cruz vs Faber

WW bout
Penn vs Fitch

HW bout
Barry vs Kongo

WW Bout
Sanchez vs Kampmann

Do you think that the UFC could/should pull this off, and what fights would u put on the card?

I've sat through the entire Gracie Sakuraba fight... can I consider myself a hardcore MMA fan yet?

Man, you guys shouldn't be so hard on the guy...interesting idea, but it would never happen...plus if one or two guys get injured it would ruin the ppv because I doubt they'd find another fighter that would be able to face the opponent and have it be a rematch as well to save the ppv idea.

Idea would be more interesting if it was in Japan....under pride rules.

If there was a point in time when there were in fact quite a few rematches being requested from fans and fighters alike then I really don't see why UFC wouldn't do this. The whole rematch idea could be used as a very astute marketing tool if done correctly, which UFC invariably do.

I wouldn't say anytime soon though. I currently am not too bothered about seeing any rematches.

Something like this maybe.

Silva v Sonnen
Fedor v Nogueira
Wandy v Cro Cop
John Koppenhaver v Jared Rollins

Off top of my head.

Like Snachez v Kampmann too.

I would say a card full of re-matches where the decisions were controversial.

Bisping/Hamill

Fitch/Penn

Ohan/Garcia

Sanchez/Kampman

The one stipulation is that the judges stay home and the fighters fight to the death. lol.

Fav Fighters:
BJ
GSP
Askren
JDS
Belcher
Shogun
Fedor
Hendo
Sonnen

Why pay for a full card that features fights that have already happened?
