He was fantastic to watch but his days are gone, he looked sh*t in his last fight out and is only getting older.
I think he wants some more promotion and what bigger stage than the UFC on a HW title card against an easy opponent who just got some notoriety.

He looked like shit in his last fight?? What fight is that? his last MMA fight was a rematch against Scott Smith and he looked nowhere near shit. The guy got a finish in the second round due to a body kick. He didnt take alot of damage and managed to return alot and make it entertaining. Did you even actually watch the fight?? Cung Le just finished what he started in their first fight before one of the best out of nowhere comeback haymaker landed on his chin.

Cung Le would destroy Leben. Cung is a nightmare match up for Leben. It would look similar to Bisping vs leben, except, Cung Le hits alot harder then Bisping does and is ALOOOT more versatile. Im not sure what Lebens body kick defense is like BUT they would be coming Hard,Fast and strong.

See above. Sometimes i wonder if you guys write stuff before thinking. Stylistically Leben has nothing to offer Cung Le. Only way Leben takes this is if we get a mirror image of Cung le vs Scott Smith 1.

Gives nothing back to MMA?? Whats with that? i saw a couple people posting that.
I dont know where to start but i guess il try with
MMA IS NOT A PERSON. Cung Le didnt borrow anything from this guy MMA and then decide to not return it. Cung Le worked hard for his wins and entertained the crowd in doing so. He put his body in harms way for the sport. The guy owns his own gym and does a good amount off public seminars. He helps alot of people train and if that isnt giving back then i dont know what is. You guys act like he owes you something, which is silly and selfish. He cant make a movie or 2 without you guys thinking ill of him?? That is sooo unbelievably unreasonable. You guys have your own lives, dont try to live his for him.
Now that i finished opening the flood gate to negs.
Id actually love for Cung Le to get a shot in the UFC. Give him 2 fights against average opponents to see where he is at. If he still looks in shape and motivated and gets those wins then we start treating him like a contender. Cung Le can be used for some pretty interesting fights (Silva,Stann,Leben,Wanderlei,Bisping). The MW division is pretty weak and it seems like there isn't alot of people in it. If it was a wrestling based division like the WW division is, then id see little hope for him to be relevant. Lucky for him there is alot of people in the MW division that would be happy to trade with him. He would have a few kryptonites such as Chael,Munoz and Yushin. Even though i doubt it, in a main event fight, Cung Le would have 25min to try and submit Chael (My moneys on Chael). Munoz does not have the best shot and gets caught up in trading punches, but if Munoz gets Cung down then Cung is in some serious trouble. Yushin Okami is probably the fight Cung le is least likely to win.
So id have to say, if Cung Le looks good in his next fight, i would love to see him mix it up in the UFC MW Division.
All The Best
