To beat Leben standing you need a striker that is extremely technical, versatile and quick, Also known as Cung Le.
Oh yeah I agree that as far as boxing goes, Leben has the edge. Hes proved that. I agree with the Cung Le comment also. Thats why I wanna see him fight Anderson. Since people think Leben will 'kill' Le, I don't think I'll have to many posters backing me on this. It would be a very entertaining fight IMO.

If Cung vs Leben ever were to happen, i reckon, we could win some pretty good money.

I'd hope so! Not sure what the odds would be. Can't imagine too many people putting Leben as a massive favourite.

Well if the first page is any indication, it would seem people believe Leben is in another league. Cung Le hasnt faught in a long time and has never been that busy, plus he is about 40 years old. With those stats in mind i can actually see why people think Leben would take it. But even a lesser version Cung Le is still in my opinion good enough to pick Chris apart while moving away from that slow hay maker. Aslong as he doesnt rock Leben i think Cung can get a pretty easy decision victory.

if he does rock Leben then his best bet to survive is to keep his distance and attack the body only. Going in for the kill would prove fatal.

Do a few posters on page 1 represent the majority? To be fair with the stats you mentioned I wouldn't be suprised. Cung has that natural talent which will counter Lebens agressive style perfectly. I don't think it would be too one sided but I agree that it will probably end in a decision for Le.

I'd watch it, but man Leben has drawn a target on his back lately. Seems like everybody (Fans and fighters) are calling him out to fight. I guess it's good though, because people are acknowledging he's exciting.

MMA IS NOT A PERSON. Cung Le didnt borrow anything from this guy MMA and then decide to not return it. Cung Le worked hard for his wins and entertained the crowd in doing so. He put his body in harms way for the sport. The guy owns his own gym and does a good amount off public seminars. He helps alot of people train and if that isnt giving back then i dont know what is. You guys act like he owes you something, which is silly and selfish. He cant make a movie or 2 without you guys thinking ill of him?? That is sooo unbelievably unreasonable. You guys have your own lives, dont try to live his for him.
Truth. I don't get this whole "he doesn't give back to MMA"-talk either. He entertains those pure spectators with his fights, and it's not like he is a boring fighter from that perspective, and gives nice footage with his versatile style for those that train themselves in martial arts. What more is he supposed to "give back"¿

I'd have to agree with Tyson and Sideways... Cung Lee is a bad match-up for Leben.

He's extremely active and has very unpredictable strikes. Leben goes into zombie mode and will be tagged all night long. I'd recon I could win good credits with a UD with Lee.

I also want to add that there is nothing wrong with doing a few projects on the side of mma. The football players do it in the CFL, actually 99.9% of them have other jobs because it isn't enough for them to live. If you're not the #1 guy in the world, it's hard to make a good pay day (especially if you fight 1-2X a year).

Leben wouldn't have much trouble putting away Le, all he would have to do is keep the pressure on. Lebens grappling should be years ahead of Cung's, but honestly I'm pretty confident he would keep Cung uncomfortable on the feet, moving backward, and knock him out.

To Leben, fighting and knocking a guy out is kind of a normal thing at this point. For Cung, he almost had an aneurism when Frank Shamrock broke his arm and couldn't continue. When I look at the two of them (Leben and Le), I see a level of comfort in the cage that is not even comparable. To compare two different fights and say that Cung would outpoint Leben just like Bisping did, is ridiculous. Scott Smith is old, Scott Smith can't even afford TRT!!!, and he still stopped Le. Sure, Cung beat him in the rematch, but my point is that Smith isn't Chris Leben. Leben isn't broke! If this fight happens, Leben will come in juiced to the legal limits, and he will literally crush Le's skull into the octagon floor!

Right now, I'd like to see Leben fight someone a little more relevant. Cung should prove he can beat a wrestler at this point, that is my opinion.
