Cung Le is much too fast for Leben. Hes going to kick him all night and Chris is going to struggle to find his target. Stylistically a bad match up for Leben. I find Cung Le to be a rather exciting and visually impressive fighter. I'd love to see him be more active.

I've seen him fight and I am from the San Jose Vietnamese community, I have every reason to be a nuthugger of his but I'm going to be realistic here and say Le's been out of action for a loooong time.

And honestly he may be good but he has never been tested fully, closest was Shamrock and Smith of which one of them knocked Le out. He's yet to face a powerful wrestler and although he might squeeze by Leben, any good UFC 185'er would end him. He is far too undersized and there are alot better wrestlers at 170 for him to truly compete, he'll be a decent gate keeper though as his striking is sharp, he has a brown belt in BJJ and a background in wrestling.

He also has a pretty good mentality about training so he can evolve but it's a bit late in his career for much more improvement.

I sure did watch the fight and he didn't look sharp at all in comparison to previous fights. He got the win over somebody he should have blown away to begin with, maybe an early stoppage, but he didn't look sharp, no two ways about it.

Chris Leben is far from the most skilled fighter, farther from a future champion. But he is not an easy fight for anyone! Stann and Silva caught him, no question about it. But to refer to him as an easy opponent is an excersise in ingnorance.
Relative of course. Leben is ranked top 10 MW in the world in some lists. I don't think he is.

I think this would be a pickem TBH, but would take Le if he was in his prime.

All a mute point anyways given Leben now to face Munoz who is going to blow him out.

I would like to see Cung back in the cage. As someone else mentioned put him in against a mid tier guy and see where he is. I would think Leben would fit that bill, it would probably be an exciting fight.

I actually think this would be a bad fight for Chris Leben.. Leben doesn't do very well against opponents with good footwork.

Cung blasts through brawlers.

Stylistic nightmare for Leben.

I'd pick Cung to win by UD.
