Page was in top form for this press conference. I'm officially rooting for him to get his belt back even though I'm a big fan of the way Bones fights as well.

I think rampage may have just started his own obituary. RIP Rampage @ UFC 135
I see it the other way around; I think Jones has an immature mental game, if not in the fight then definitely leading up to it, and Rampage looks like a joker now but is no joker in the cage. In this conference Jones is over serious and a bit stuck for words, Rampage is in a good mood with no pressure. Jones is on top of the world right now but in that conference Rampage looked like the more confident and comfortable man.

Jones says he performs better when someone has pissed him off... when has an opponent genuinely got under his skin? I don't recall any Jones feuds except the one where he announced himself injured just as it got fired up. Then again, he does seem easily offended so...

"Don't call me kid Dana, that's enough of the kid stuff..."

JBJ needs to take that stick out his arse (* says that from a safe distance *). Need to watch the video when I get home, I'm sure it's full of lulz.

Haha JBJ looked proper pissed that Rampage had ruined 'his thing' of being super cool and looking away into the distance. A Page KO would be EPIC

Aw man now I wish even more that Jones gets knocked out. Sadly I know that's probably not going to happen.

damn straight.

i think rampage knew this. Look at jones before the staredown, imo he looks really tense and ready to get his mean-face on and rampage simply shits all over that. Priceless

jones looks like, wait.. what.. hmm.. where to look.. belt over shoulder.. Eventhough jones is a huge favorite, rampage got under his skin, right then and there.

ahahahhahahhaahhahaha, Rmapage, that was classic dude !

I don't think there can ever be a better reaction to the Jones stare down than that. Extracted the urine right out of him, and made him look like a complete idiot with no possible come back.

Rampage will massacre Jones in the mental battles before this fight. I just hope he can live up to it, when they get into the Octagon.

Think we just saw the difference between having a big personality and having media training. Jones isn't in the same league with the verbals and he did not look a happy chappy with Rampage taking most of the attention and all the laughs. Mocking the stare away was priceless. About time too. Jesus, that makes me cringe.

Got to wonder if getting under Jones' skin is that great of an idea though. Jones with bad intentions is probably not the best person to be stuck in a cage with.

Too bad for Rampage the fight takes place in the cage, where there's punching, kicking, elbowing and TDs involved.
And Jones knows how to play *the fighting game*.

In this case, it's a good thing for Jones they don't crown the Champion after a press conference...

I don't really know whay people are so surprised at how this conference evolved. Honestly i expected this.
Rampage always tries to be funny, hilarious and is always looking to fool around and play jokes on his opponents.

Jones has indeed a strange personality, but it's a strong personality. He's like a "soft-reality" version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

He's always relaxed and all smiles when he's *Jon Jones - the person*, when he's out living like a normal human being - and he's not dealing with pre-fight press conferences and weigh-ins and stuff like that.
But once it's that moment, *he sort of transforms* into a very serious person...maybe too serious for some peoples' taste. His face expression changes, the smile dissapears and is replaced with a pretty emotionless appearance.

I'm not a psychologist or a specialist in stdying human beahavior, but i just think this is his way of getting ready for a fight.
This is how he acted prior to his last fights...so i don't know why people are that surprised tbh.
maybe it's because now he's champion and some think he's feeling more pressure?!

People said the same things i'm reading right now before Jones' fight against Bader and Shogun, based on how Jones looked at the pre-fight press conferences - something like: "have you see how he looked?! omg...that's a sign of ... bla bla bla"

I'm so enjoying being Jones' fan. Words can't describe the feeling.

PS: go ahead guys...hit me...flame me. I will take it with pride

.
