You mean the kind of move that Rogan called a "****-chocke"? I thought that was perfectly legal but not very effective. |

Are wrists considered small joint? I know you can't attack then fingers toes etc. but you can attack the ankle, which I've seen, but I don't recall ever seeing any kind of wrist lock. Do fighters just not attempt them because of the gloves and tape, which prevent it from being painful enough to tap?

I believet that is correct. Be hard to get a wrist lock with all that wrapping. I could be wrong but that makes sense. |

They just don't work, period. Some guys even have wrists you can bend all the way back in any direction with no discomfort.
As for "**** choke" like Wand did against Jardine, it's more of a head control move. If he were actually trying to squeeze Jardine's trach it'd be illegal but he was basically just holding his neck to keep his head in place.
