While in the full mount.. why not just choke them out with "strangle" method? Like Chung Lee tried to do in one of his bouts.. From what I understand that move was illegal.. But I guess not... is it a under used method? hehe

You mean the kind of move that Rogan called a "****-chocke"? I thought that was perfectly legal but not very effective.

Are wrists considered small joint? I know you can't attack then fingers toes etc. but you can attack the ankle, which I've seen, but I don't recall ever seeing any kind of wrist lock. Do fighters just not attempt them because of the gloves and tape, which prevent it from being painful enough to tap?

I believet that is correct. Be hard to get a wrist lock with all that wrapping. I could be wrong but that makes sense.

They just don't work, period. Some guys even have wrists you can bend all the way back in any direction with no discomfort.
As for "**** choke" like Wand did against Jardine, it's more of a head control move. If he were actually trying to squeeze Jardine's trach it'd be illegal but he was basically just holding his neck to keep his head in place.
