According to sources close to the situation, he has been selected to appear in a welterweight encounter against an opponent to be named.
The fight will mark his sixth for the promotion and his third outing on domestic soil. Hathaway was originally in talks to appear on the UFC 137: Diaz vs. St. Pierre fight card on Oct. 29, but it is understood that he will be tooling up for a home encounter instead.
Looking at the active welterweight division reveals a relatively sparse selection of fighters who are awaiting bouts. With Thiago Alves having just been confirmed on the Birmingham fight card against Swedish newcomer Papy Abedi, that only leaves Martin Kampmann and Jon Fitch as high calibre opposition, currently without adversaries.
The UFC’s first five-round, non-title bout – featuring Top 10 middleweights Chris Leben and Mark Munoz – headlines the promotion’s long-awaited return to the U.K.

I think Kampmann and Fitch are both out of Hathaways league. Not too sure who he is going to face..

Just had a look at the Welterweight divison and a few names spring to mind.
Brian Foster, Dong Hyun Kim (i think they were meant to fight before) Claude Patrick..

Given the way he's looked in his past 2 fights, Hathaway doesn't deserve "high calibre" opposition as that article suggests... He get's tooled by Pyle and then eeks out a W over Kris McCray and they throw Fitch and Kampmann out there as suggested opponents?!
Dude should be fighting a Sean Pierson or TJ Waldburger type.
Or how about pitting him up with Carlos Eduardo Rocha...

Hathaway is dreaming if he thinks he is gonna get a fight with Fitch!
Not sure why everyone is against the kampmann idea though. Kampmann is above hathaway's level but he is technically coming off back to back losses and is also European.
Other ideas are Matt Brown, stun gun or brian Foster.
On another note I hope we get Struve or Pat Barry on this card!
