That is truly one of the next steps for MMA, is some sponsorships from Nike, it's the leading sports brand in the world, and for fighters to get deals with them is huge.

I feel bad for Okami...what could possibly be more intimidating than standing in a cage in a roaring stadium in Brazil with the lights off as the greatest fighter on the planet walks towards you with a ballin Jersey and Nike gear on??

Nice work son! Looking good for MMA fighters and sponsorships. GSP's got Gatorade, Silva's got Nike - we're heading in the right direction!

its been said he also got burger king, man AS is making serious cash just from sponsers finally, he should be the easiest fighter to market as long as he doesnt talk

too bad all this is happening in what seems to be the beginning of the end...though hes always looked incredible im starting to worry every time he fights because of his age...there will come that fight where the age catches up to him

I don't like Burger King and similar unhealthy fast food stuff, even less as sponsors in a sportive context, but that

is hilarious.

The reflection of his eyes on the table actually make him look a bit like a spider.

That's great news, good job. Nice to see Anderson getting some more coverage.

I thought Anderson was meant to be a McDonald's man? Sure I read something saying that his ritual before every fight was to eat a Big Mac. That won't go down too well with Burger King...

Who knows what the size of the deal is. Manny Pacquiao's started off as $74,000 with Nike.

I think it's a big thing for MMA, to have such a HUGE name as NIKE be associated to one of the best...if not THE BEST MMA fighter in the world.

Slowly, but surely, MMA is gonna get more and more recognition.
