Dennis Hallman fires back at 'ignorant' TRT critics

People hear something from an official who was uneducated and they run around talking like they know the facts. They don't ... The thing about those guys is that they are as ignorant as they can be. You can't generalize everybody in every situation. Those guys probably don't even know where testosterone comes from in the body. You hear guys making statements that are ignorant all the time. And they've never spent 15 minutes looking up or studying hormone replacement. They make statements like that because the media propaganda machine brainwashes the average citizen into thinking steroids are bad. When really, they are medicine. But just like any medicine, if you abuse it, it becomes a drug.
I must say, I like the way he worded that.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

I think this is basically what any reasonable person has been saying. Everyone knows that ancient guys like Couture and Hendo are on TRT, the point is they pass their tests because their levels are in check when it is testing time.

Chael testing at over 27 times the allowed amount and Nate at whatever he was at is totally illegal and is clear cheating.

This is the second time I've seen Hallman go on record defending TRT (I think the first was on MMA Insider) for no particular reason I can see and I'm beginning to doubt his whole "it's my new gluten-free diet!" deal.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

I sympathise with Hallman as his need for TRT is legit, neither Sonnen or Nate M. have provided a reputable doctors paperwork which supports them needing TRT (to my knowledge) on Inside MMA Hallman seemed well educated on his previous medical issues prompting his need for TRT, so in my eyes Hallman is the only active MMA fighter in the UFC who has proper need for such treatment.

why, because he was in the past a skilled sub artist but weak and quick to gas? celiac is the official reason but that's a pretty suspect disease.

seen the Inside MMA where he links Celiac to how he needs TRT, it's in a pretty clear-cut way. What makes Celiac a suspect disease?

I'm really confused because it said Hallman needs HRT, not TRT.....there is a difference...especially in that HRT is normally used by women with Celiac to prevent menopause and whatnot.

TRT seems to be strictly additional injected anabolic steroids. I seldom see questions about other hormone levels. And seeing that either therapy is for more senior people, the total spectrum is very important.

HRT includes anabolic steroids, HGH, esto control, cholesterol, bp and full blood panels. Diet, vits&mins, exercise and recovery are also in the program.
Read this on another forum. Could definitely see how this could make someone a monster, especially in terms of conditioning.

Celiac is a pretty legitimate disease, the repercussions of not properly treating it and changing your life style can range from extremely painful to death for people who have it.

That said the "anti-gluten" movement has taken away alot of the deserved sympathy for celiacs, mainly because it's basically a bunch of people who think they feel better when they don't eat gluten and claim they had undiagnosed celiac.

As for the OP, it's nothing we all weren't already saying. There are people abusing TRT treatment or using it because past steroid use has effed their endocrine system.

TRT is a form of Hormone replacement therapy (HRT), in this case the hormone being testosterone.
