The First FOX Show.

Who all could be on it?

Rich/Lil Nog, Hendo if a deal is done, Rory, Vitor, Pyle, Tito, Mendes, Hominick, KZ, Fitch, Koscheck, Machida, Davis, Bader, G-Sot, Poirer, Carwin, Mir?

What do you guys think is a reasonable first card?

Lesnar vs Overeem. It's a big fight, huge draw, and a gaurenteed exciting fight. This is the reason to sign Overeem right here.

The only other option I can think of that'll be big would be JDS vs Cain. I'm not sure where that bout stands. But if the UFC is looking a for a big, non title, fight....look no futher than Lesner vs Overeem.

They'll still have to come up with an entire card, though, and they have three shows in October and November, followed by a December show, not to mention three shows in August and two in September. There's a lot of people booked, and this card will have to have some star power on it.

Well Cain Vs JDS is Nov 19,

Lesnar Vs Overeem is rumoured for Dec 10.

I could see the Davis/Machida fight being a candidate for a headliner...

Remember the presser said the PPV is still the bread and butter..so like people have mentioned in other forums, I think we can expect UK style cards,

Where a Munoz/Leben could headline, or initially someone with more notoriety like Tito, could headline.

Like time and time again, the WWE model is something the Ufc likes, and it does work.

Give the people a taste of the star's on free tv, build the young prospects, so people tune in and buy the PPV's.

Good look on the Cain vs JDS info. I think they have to come out the gate with a big main event. The rest of the card shouldn't be a problem to fill. And I wouldn't think the UFC would throw out that date without anything in mind or almost set.

The reason I guessed Overeem is because hes said time and time again he wants to and will be ready to fight in Nov.

Mir/Overeem, KZ/Hominick, and Machida/Davis all seem like possibilities. They could move a fight like Kampmann/Story to this card also.

For the first show to establish high ratings they just might. I think the first Fox show we should be looking at striker fights as those are the most likely to draw in new fans and establish a high profile card. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see guys like Leben and Franklin on it.

Free tv on Spike or any other cable station is totally different than free tv on FOX. I can't imagine them not getting major cards after paying 90 million yearly. IMO Brock would fit this shoe perfectly. He's probably the most well known/mainstream fighter and the UFC would be wise to use his marketability to expand their fan base.

If Brock can make the show in time, him and Reem will headline.

Throw in Rich/Lil' Nog, Benevidaz/Torres 2, Carwin/Mir 2, and Koscheck/Rory that could be a great card.
