I think Pearson could find himself in deep waters early on with Barboza's speed and the home crowd behind him. But Barboza tailed off a bit after the first round in his last fight and if Pearson can get through round one unhurt then I think he's got the mental toughness to come back and squeak a decision.
Maybe I'm being a bit optimistic, dunno. The other thought nagging at me is that he's not going to able to cope with the speed and reach and just get outclassed for a ud but I'd love to see him pull it off.

Barboza has absolutely nasty stand up. Best leg kicks in the division IMO. Cerrone is a close second.
With that being said though, Pearson is a savage all around and I actually originally picked him to win but this is just one of those fights thats hard to visualize.
