Color me skeptical.

That isn't much time between fights, and Henderson hasn't seemed too excited about fighting at MW lately.

It would be absolutely sick if it ended up happening. It just seems odd to me.

Sources also indicated that if Henderson didn’t agree to move down to middleweight months after a heavyweight showdown against Fedor Emelianenko, Chael Sonnen is the option to replace him against Silva.
Yes we know he was the only one to make AS sweat and the fight has dollar signs. But since when did the ufc become so thirsty? the guy hasnt even fought stann yet.Its bad enough that he just needed one fight to get to the title after just "losing in a championship fight" but to just assume he will beat stann and be ready november 12 is just too much guess work

In saying that maybe sonnen was right and ufc promised him anderson no matter the outcome of either of their fights..

To Live is 2 suffer, 2 survive? well that is 2 find meaning in the suffering

Basically. They said they'd hear Barnett's request for a license, but wouldn't grant him one administratively. So the door was open for a return, but they weren't promising him one. Barnett showed up to the CSAC and thought his presence was just a formality and they'd just give him a license since his suspension was up. But they started asking him questions, so he asked to reschedule and eventually dropped his request for a license.

Chael can request a license from the CSAC anytime he wants, so it is technically possible they could give him one. But the CSAC seemed pretty upset with him at the last hearing. I think at least four commissioners questioned his veracity or even his need for testosterone. The Dr. on the commission even told him to get a second opinion. And if the CSAC declines to give him a license, he can't even request one from them again for a full year. So he may want to wait to ask for one until he's sure they'll give him one.

Some people think that they can convey either a philosophy on life or a complex political statement using a signature on the internet. I'm not one of them.

I would be shocked if silva fights on november 12. Giving that he comes away scratch free is 2 months and a week enough time for him to be ready to defend his belt?

At MW i see this fight 80-20 in favor of Silva.

At LHW i see this fight 60-40 in favor of Silva.

Henderson looks so much better at LHW than he did at MW.
You can never count out his big right hand. And he would definitely try and take a page out of the Chael Sonnen bock on how to shut down Silva.

It would be a fight i would love to see LHW that is.

Silva wins this fight hands down, hendo just aint quick enough to get hold of him and get him to the ground. If Hendo goes in looping his 'H-Bombs' hes going to be TKOed pronto.

Would LOVE to see it though.

“Well, Chael Sonnen has a fight in Houston before we can make that decision. He’d have to get through his fight in Houston. Obvioulsy, Dan Henderson is a possibility, too. We’ll see what happens. We don’t know yet, but you’re right it can be one of those guys.”

UFC president Dana White commented on the FOX rumored main event between Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson/Chael Sonnen at today’s UFC 134 pre-fight press conference.

We have been following the development of this rumor for the past few days and will continue to do so until the picture is made clear. However, first things first, this weekend’s UFC 134 main event is a huge determining factor on the likely hood of these matches coming together.
