136 Best Card of the Year?

UFC 136 is starting to look like it will be a lock for the best card of 2011:

Edgar vs Maynard 3
Aldo vs Florian
Sonnen vs Stann
Guillard vs Lauzon
Maia vs Santiago
Pettis vs Jeremy Stephens and
Dave Herman vs Mike Russow

WOW, every single one of those fights will be a great fight IMO.

Fingers crossed that the current trend of injuries doesn't continue!

At the same time though, i don't understand how the UFC can give us cards like this, 134, 135 and 137 but then have 138 without any really big fights aside from Leben vs Munoz,. Even then that fight is worse than all of the co-main events from the other cards aside from Matt Hughes vs Diego Sanchez at 135.

I still prefer 129, an abundance of highlight reel finishes, and I know a lot of people didn't like GSP/Shields but I enjoyed it.

Once 136 pans out, I may change my opinion. Never judge a card until it's done.

I don't judge cards until they are over. In the past, there have been many stacked cards which turned out to be out rated by fight night cards.

UFC Live: Kongo v. Barry, for example, was an amazing card.

Watching Brenneman win (in his home town) was amazing. I had no idea who he was prior to the fight.

Yes it looks like an awesome card. I have tickets on the 20th row center and can't wait, it will be our first live event.
