Here's an article that dives a little deeper into the fact that Silva will NOT be fighting on UFC on FOX: (As discussed in the interview with Dana)

RIO DE JANEIRO – Make no mistake about it: Anderson Silva wants big fights.

UFC president Dana White said the organization's 36-year-old middleweight champion, who headlines Saturday's UFC 134 event against Yushin Okami, wants big fights from opponents in multiple weight classes.

But a rumored quick return for Silva at November's UFC on FOX event just isn't in the cards, he said.

White spoke to in one-on-one interview after today's pre-UFC 134 press conference at Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Other than saying Silva won't fight at the UFC's Nov. 12 debut on network TV, he left open the door for just about anything else.

"Anderson wants big fights, and he doesn't know how much longer he's going to fight," White said. "But he wants big fights. He wants fights that are going to mean something."

So are UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and light-heavyweight titleholder Jon Jones – who both recently dominated the Silva rumor mill as potential opponents – still possibilities?

"Those are a couple that would mean something," he said.

Another that would seem to mean something is a cross-promotion clash with Strikeforce light-heavyweight champion Dan Henderson, who recently fulfilled the terms of his contract and is now free to sign with the UFC. While a Silva vs. Henderson fight reportedly was in the works – assuming Silva gets by Okami at Saturday's pay-per-view event – White suggested to it's not happening. To, he was more adamant.

"It's not true," he said. "I saw that rumor too. ... If he goes out and wins in 13 seconds, he's not (being) considered for the FOX show."

Still, while Silva won't have a quick turnaround right now, White expects the pound-for-pound king to fulfill his promise and fight approximately five more times over the next two years. If he remains undefeated in the UFC and continues fighting big-name opponents, White said Silva will have quite the retirement nest egg.

"Let me tell you, he's [expletive] rich right now," White said. "Another two years? I think he'd be good to go."

Thanks for posting these! Repped.
Should be a great card. I hope Shogun puts on an amazing performance and puts Griffin away so he can forever erase their last fight.
