This is a business move 100k arena and major north american buys. No disrespect ufc own but i hate it when the ufc goes to Australia due to timezone. I hate the time delay with a passion. If its not live i will not pay for it because i will know the results already.

I don't think the Australian cards are actually tape delayed. They're just started earlier locally so they're on at their normal times for the U.S. audience. So Australia is actually a better destination for PPV caliber cards than Europe or the UAE. And the last show was a big enough local success that they were talking about doing a stadium show. I don't think there's any downside to cards for Australia. There may be logistical costs, but the long term benefits seem well worth it, since it's their top PPV market outside of North America.

Some people think that they can convey either a philosophy on life or a complex political statement using a signature on the internet. I'm not one of them.

I think it is a sensible policy. MMA in Brazil is big, so there is a huge market to exploit. In the UK it's still kind of a minority sport.
