Lorenzo says it all UFCOWNS...it all comes down to "SUPPORT" and by that he means $$$.

Yes you can sell out an arena anywhere in England or in Sydney or Melbourne, but how do they make any money when you guys watch everything for free on TV.

The Ufc either needs to make money by PPV's from you and your country men, or a branch of Fox or Espn, or whatever the sports network needs to cough up some money and pay up. This will allow more fights and bigger named fighters.

The other thing Brazil has going for it, is the timezone, its the same as the States/Canada, which means the Ufc can sell out 100,000 seat arena's and still get the 500-750k PPV buys from the North Americans...Winning

You are missing the point,

You watch UFC for free in Austrailia do you not?

Are you going to get 500,000 people paying $65 each to have a "stacked" card in your country?

Hey we had to wait 13 years! We deserve it, plus it makes more sense, brazil Produces much better fighters and many more are coming up...the p4p king is brazilian

our economy is booming like crazy, the Sport is growing rapidly here finally, they can pull off huge arenas AND insane ratings since most of the population only have free tv and UFC is on a free channel, that means a Live event can pull in 30 milion ppl, even 50 million

and if they manage to get on the biggest free channel, Globo...they could get 60 to 80 million with a stacked card...brazil is more MMA than any other country outside of USA

doesnt mean you guys deserve 4 times the amount that we get per year, i dont have a problem with you getting 4 events but then we should at least get 2 per year, and as i said our first 2 events combined sold out in 45 minutes and the first brazil one with a stacked card with a title fight sold out in like 76 minutes in a smaller stadium.

Hmm cant disagree with that...i thought you meant we didnt deserve 4 events...though obviously europe deserves better cards, you guys get some crappy cards...i guess its because UFC always wants to stack hometown fighters on the card, they really need to stopped doing this, for the first event it makes sense but after that they should just give every place a stacked card...

the real problem though is the number of ppvs...the demand for UFC is very high now, 30 ppvs arent enough, they really need to start doing more events...merge strikeforce and do more shows, i dont know why they dont pull the trigger

no doubt they would still sell out every show, oh and we would have sold out faster but the site wasnt working very well, me and all my friends tried buying tickets but it didnt work most of the time

my bad, what do you guys pay per fight?

I think you can rest easy as far as Brazil getting four fights, Lorenzo also eluded to a fight night style where they can showcase lesser known Brazilian fighters.

yeah i dont care about aussie fighters being on the card just good fighters and good fights, they are now having 4 events per year on fox so that frees up 4 more cards for overseas with 3 going to brazil on top of the one they already have, i wouldn't mind one just in febuary and one in december thats all.
