And Id like to Commend the best ref in the game, Herb Dean. I think he recognized this because he didnt penalize Palhares for his early cage jumping and after repeatedly telling him to let go of the cage, telling him he'd deduct a point next time (guess what he did it again) and literally had to pry his hand off. He recognized palhares wasnt understanding him. He couldve gotten frustrated and took the point (not that it wouldve mattered), but he figured out what the deal was and handled it perfectly).

I missed the part where I said he had to be perfect. I said I don't like stupid fighters. If you do like them, thats fine, you're entitled to set your own criteria for what you like in a fighter. So am I.

Mistakes are bad, but everyone makes them. Making a stupid mistake is worse. Making a stupid mistake multiple times, makes you....well....stupid.

The fight tonight was vindication if I ever saw it. Palhares won it anyway, but he tried very hard to give that fight away. How stupid do you have to be to stop fighting before the ref steps in? Just when I thought he couldn't get any dumber, he sets the bar even higher. Whats next, he fights two rounds and goes back to the dressing room because he forgets there is a third? lol.

I love how people shit on him for holding onto a sub too long because the ref takes too long to step in...then people shit on him because he didn't go until the ref stopped him.

(Keep in mind I haven't seen the fight, just going based on posts)
