If he Ko's Chael, who else is there?

How about Stann vs Belfort. Winner gets Silva. I'd much rather see Silva vs Belfort 2 than Stann vs Silva 1...but that's just me.
Personally, I'll be shocked if Stann gets past Chael.

I concur there's no one left, once he's beat Stann/Sonnen there really isn't anyone left. There'd probably be close to 9 months of MW fighting to determine an acceptable #1 contender with Bisping/Mayhem, Munoz/Leben, Belfort, potentially Franklin, Palhares, maybe Maia if he can string a few. There are so many POTENTIAL contenders, but no one who has a snowball's chance ATM.
I'm not saying Stann is not a great fighter, with a great work ethic in the gym. But there is a massive difference in the level of skill Stann possesses as a grappler/striker, vs the skill of a Dan Henderson overall, or a Chael Sonnen as a grappler. If neither of those men were able to do much, what can Stann, a jack of all trades, master of none, do?

everyone will be.
He's been working on his wrestling for a year (I know...), he can knock out any MW, he has the best coaches and training partners in the sport, and at his age this is his shot. Now. there might not be another. Wouldn't he be the man on this forum if he knocks Chael silly coming in for a TD then catches him in a triangle?
some people around here are stuck in time and can't appreciate a man's growth. (A) Kristoph is better than you think. (B) STANN HAS IMPROVED since then. (C) if you discount what he did to Santiago and Leben you are in the Nile. (D) The Chris Leben that he destroyed HAS IMPROVED GREATLY over the one A.S. beat. (E) I've still got rum left.
Belfort would be the easiest match for Brian. He beats him by mental strength. Every time.

Only man that can beat Silva eh???
I think this guy has a bone to pick with you.
On a latter note, Brian Stann is absolutely no match for Silva, no where close. Brian Stann won't get past Sonnen. 1 year of wrestling wont make up for 25.
As a matter of fact, no one in the MW division has much of a chance of beating AS for the exception of Sonnen of coarse.
If anyone has a decent chance of beating Silva, it's GSP, and JBJ.
