So Mousasi got "exposed" because of a subpar fight against an up and comer who LnP'd him to death and got owned in guard for 5 Rounds? At least he didn't catch a lucky triangle in the 5th Round after getting his ass kicked.

I know MMAth doesn't really work all the time but think about this:

King Mo beats Mousasi
Feijao beats King Mo
Hendo beats Feijao
Anderson has beaten Hendo, and you can't really argue that Hendo is better now than he was then.

I think all of the above beat Mousasi in prospective matchups and Anderson would beat all of them.

some people around here are stuck in time and can't appreciate a man's growth. (A) Kristoph is better than you think. (B) STANN HAS IMPROVED since then. (C) if you discount what he did to Santiago and Leben you are in the Nile. (D) The Chris Leben that he destroyed HAS IMPROVED GREATLY over the one A.S. beat. (E) I've still got rum left.

Belfort would be the easiest match for Brian. He beats him by mental strength. Every time.
That must be some mighty fine rum.

Ok...here is my take: Stann is a new UFC poster boy propped by the UFC's affiliation with the US military. Is he crap, no. Is he championship material, no, does the UFC want him to succeed, you bet your Forrest Griffen they do. Leben may have improved, but it is irrelevant as Leben too will never wear the belt, he is middling at best and his heavy hands is all he's got. Forget his win over the Axe Murder, as alas, Vandy is past his best before date. Krzysztof is exactly as good as I think he is, but perhaps not as good as you think he is - did that make sense? With loses to Ben Rothwell x 2, Brandon Vera and Stephan Bonner, I feel safe in my assessment. He's a tough SOB, but that is about it - I saw him the other day, man I bet he could collected a debt just by staring at you. Santiago...really...the guy has wins against a bunch of nobodies. They only time he has faced mid-tier opponents he has lost.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for Stann, but I think it is a little biased by your love of American wrestlers (Couture, Lesnar, etc). To each their own...I know I have my weakness in sports and like athletes/teams just because of some personal predilection.

Oh yeah...Anderson Silva HAS DEFINITELY IMPROVED, TOO.

OK first King Mo would get destroyed in a rematch, second Mousasi would rip Hendo apart with his speed,And Silva got owned by Demian maia in stand up.

I see Mousasi is still overrated by some.

Mousasi won that fight with Jardine, but Jardine is a mess. It is sad that he couldn't knock him out, or at least get a clear cut win over a guy who has been beaten by everyone as of late.

In the Mo fight it was pathetic. Those were some of the weakest and gassed TD's I have ever seen work. Mo gassed in the 1st and Gergard gassed in the 2nd. And it went all 5 rounds. Was one of the most pathetic title fights of all time. Mo hasn't beat anyone good.

Mousasi has good skill on paper. But he can't hang with top LHWs, let alone even have a chance vs. Silva.

I think this guy has a bone to pick with you.

On a latter note, Brian Stann is absolutely no match for Silva, no where close. Brian Stann won't get past Sonnen. 1 year of wrestling wont make up for 25.

As a matter of fact, no one in the MW division has much of a chance of beating AS for the exception of Sonnen of coarse.

If anyone has a decent chance of beating Silva, it's GSP, and JBJ.
As much as I like Brian Stann (Semper Fi, Marine) I don't think he's ready for AS and as much as I dislike AS it can no longer be said that he isn't one of the most dominant fighters we've seen. But had it not been for Sonnens 20 seconds long brain fart AS would have been beat, even though it would have been reversed because of Chaels failed drug test. Sonnen has been the only one who has shown even a glimmer of hope against AS, he'll beat Brian and then get another shot at AS, hopefully. Imagine the crap out of his mouth if he beats Silva, it'll never stop.

In his weight class no but at 205 Id be willing to bet he picks up a few L's to go with a lot of W's.
