Hadn't been paying close attention to this and just looked up to see what the other fights were.
Anyone else think this is one of the weakest cards in ages?
Main Card
Jon Jones (c) vs. Quinton Jackson
Matt Hughes vs. Diego Sanchez
Ben Rothwell vs. Mark Hunt
Nate Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi
Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton
Preliminary Card
Tony Ferguson vs. Aaron Riley
Nick Ring vs. Tim Boetsch
James Te Huna vs. Ricardo Romero
Takeya Mizugaki vs. Cole Escovedo
The main event is great. The co-main is ok. Rothwell vs Hunt and Browne vs Broughton shouldn't be anywhere near main card fights, Diaz vs Gomi should be a televised prelim imo.
There aren't even any great prelim fights.
Outside of the main event this card looks like a fight night imo. Obviously will be watching it as I watch every event and wouldn't dare miss Jones vs Rampage but surprised by the quality of this card as I don't think it is even due to injuries.

Main card is great, potential for varying forms of crazy fights there. Prelims... not so great. To be fair, anything is going to feel a bit flat after 134.

Well, you said yourself you wouldn't dare miss Jones/Rampage.
That's why this is a "weak card" but Mark Hunt, Nate Diaz, Takanori Gomi, Matt Hughes, Diego Sanchez, Jon Jones, and Rampage Jackson are all exciting fighters. Ben Rothwell isn't bad either and Travis Browne is coming off a big KO over Struve.
Ring/Boestch should have been on the main card though, don't sleep on this card though, gonna be very good I have a feeling.

I don't know. The card is flat for more casual fans, but I just like to watch guys fight. The fighters don't have to be popular and this main event is worth the watch. I wouldn't order this fight, but I would definitely make it a point to watch it at B-Dubs.

Believe me I am usually telling the people don't worry this event will be good. This one just looks bad. Maybe it is my disgust to see horribly out of shape heavyweights with lacking skills gas within minutes... Replace those two fights with decent guys and I wouldn't have a problem with it.

It's true UFC Rio is hard to top, but it's obvious that they're banking on one fight. It's tough to continue following up with spectacular shows one right after the other. I think we've all become a bit spoiled.
Gotta remember they've got like 20+ shows a year with SF included now. From a consumer standpoint though, I'd agree, but I'm still watching it nonetheless. I'm not complaining...

It's amazing how far the UFC has come in the last year or two, funny that this is what some people consider a lower-end card nowadays
This card is really good, it's not it's fault that it's surrounded by great cards right?
