Donald Cerrone steps in for Sam Stout, meets Siver at UFC 137
Quote:
An injury has forced Sam Stout out of UFC 137, and in his place Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone has stepped in and will face Dennis Siver in Las Vegas.
The new bout was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by sources close to the match-up on Monday.
Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone might soon give the Miller brothers a run for their money for a fighter stepping in on short notice when someone is injured. This will be 2 out of his last 3 fights that Cerrone has stepped in for another fighter when the injury bug struck.
Since moving over to the UFC from the WEC, Cerrone has gone 3-0 with rapidly improving skills each step along the way.
In his last trip to the Octagon, Cerrone made short work of young Brazilian fighter Charles Oliveira, blasting him out in the first round in their fight at UFC on Versus 5 in Milwaukee.
The Team Jackson fighter will now face a top ten opponent in Dennis Siver, who looks to win his fifth fight in a row when he fights Cerrone in October.

I know he seems arrogant, but how in the hell can you not love the cowboy? He's a warrior if I ever saw one, and he'll step up whenever he can
This will be great

I think he will use his reach to pick up the decision, i don't think he will be able to get the ko/tko siver seems very tough and i think siver will have problems with the reach difference.

Nice! Great match up. I definitely see Cerrone winning this but Siver is a tough SOB so it should be a real good fight.
Kinda hoped Cerrone would get Miller to give Miller a good chance to get back into the mix but oh well.

Should be a great fight without a doubt, I think donald will win by using good combos on his feet to set up takedowns and beat dennis to a victory. Dennis is tough, though, and I wouldsay these guys are both on the same level of skill.

Cerrone is the epitomy of "any time, any place, anywhere". What a fighter.

Should be a hell of a ******* fight, but I got Siver. Cowboy likes to brawl and Siver will start firing off those leg kicks and slowing Cowboy down quick.
