Not necessarily. Plenty of guys still wrestle in their 40s, hell, Ric Flair retired when he reached his 60s.
He's 42, btw.

That wrestling ability often goes out the window when they start to get elbowed in the face.

Decades ago Angle could have been absolutely unstoppable at LHW or HW. Now his body is a pile of decay and his neck is pretty much dust posing as mutant vertebrae supported by steroid neck. He'd get murdered.

they're talking about pro wrestling, where you can at least work together to try not to hurt each other while performing.

It is pretty sad how drug addled and brain damaged this guy is now. He would have been a monster in MMA if he never broke his neck the first time and entered the sport instead of pro wrestling. He was just ridiculously fast and technical for a guy over 200 pounds.

Hey guys I just been signed to an 8 figure contract with the UFC. It took some dealing but Dana finally agreed to my terms. So watch this small time cafeteria worker take on Jon Jones or Rampage for the LHW title in a few months.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

The same people who wanted to see Brock Lesnar fight...the WWE fans. Despite only having one fight to his name Brock was a big draw. Those same people will come and watch Kurt Angle fight.
