Why there will never be Pride vs UFC tourney

the UFC doesnt need to do it, they simply are taking the whole thing without fighting for it. Despite having lower quality fighters(almost not so true anymore), rules that doesnt give the action pride has, they put on a standardised product, so its easier to get it mainstream.

Pride stays with the original mma, but has trouble getting good marketing value off their fights. pride keeps challenging the ufc because AS OF RIGHT NOW, they still have an edge over the ufc when it comes to fighters. But the ufc just has to wait, wait, sign a few more fighters, then its over. Pride will sink down, even if they have a better product. And at the end, pride will stay in japan, and will be as big as k-1, and the rest of the world will have lost a huge contributor to mma.
