Everyone has a breaking point, I guess.

A well executed shot to the body when you are not expecting it will make cowards out of heros every single time. That being said, if the article is right then shame on Shogun for stating something that didn't need to be stated.

"Let them see that their words can cut you, and you'll never be free of the mockery. If they want to give you a name, take it, make it your own. Then they can't hurt you with it anymore." - Tyrion Lannister

People showing their true colours on Shogun hate in this thread. Do people believe every thing they read?

Given the fact that Bleacher Report is known for BS stories and articles, then given Shoguns friendly nature and this:

Where Shogun gets up and stops even before the referee dives in, I find this article/interview VERY hard to believe.

A load of rubbish.

I don't get what all the fuss is about. Shogun is a renowned killer, and it's not like he tries to keep going after the ref jumps in. He's the epitomy of killer instinct. The only time I can think off the top of my head where he's let someone off the hook is the second Machida fight, in a split second he managed to break Lyoto's eye socket, knock him out and take his Championship status, so instead of throwing more punches he decided to celebrate.

Apart from that, he's going to 100% brutalize you until the ref jumps in. This is fighting.

You guys are nuts. You don't stop until the ref stops you. If he had stopped and given Griffin time to recover you would all be saying it was one of the stupidest mistakes ever, which it would have been. Shogun did the right thing.

Well i do think there is a legitimate beef between forrest and Shogun. Just like there is between forrest and page. U don't stop fighting until the ref tells you to.

Look at the Rousimar Palhares, that dude yelled stop and what happen?

It's kinda "tattletaling" if you'd like :P
When did he call him a quitter? Shogun just stated a fact when asked a direct question. Griffin said stop, Shogun kept hitting. That's all he said.
